For real, I wrote this in preparation for my trip (which I am on by the time you read this). I’ll try to update on the road, but we’ll see how that goes. So in the first 2/3 of the month:
In Writing
I’m writing outside the blog more. I’ve written a couple of short films and am working on a novel AND a play. On top of everything else in my life. But with these, it should give me extra stuff to put under the writing tab hopefully soon.
In Art
Yes, crafts count as art. Why else is it called ‘Arts and Crafts’?
I’ve been busy with writing. Honestly, I’m not mad.
In Videos
It’s all updated!
You can check out the characters, you can see what the short films are about, and I actually put the goals up. I know I said I put up goals in May, and I thought I did! And then they weren’t there… I don’t know what happened. But it’s up there now.
Notables this month in the way of vids are im still depressed, Alexandra’s Adventure to Holi, and Friday the 13th Superstitions. (Click on the titles to be taken to the videos)
In Reading
Whoo, new section! Mainly because of this post (omg books). This month I’ve read:
- And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie (a favorite)
- The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini (amazing)
- The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness (hilarious)
- The Mirror Crack’d from Side to Side by Agatha Christie (love her)
- Red Rain by R.L. Stine (bad)
- The Secret Daughter of the Tsar by Jessica Laam (not impressed)
- Dracula by Bram Stoker
I’m a bit off track with what I said I would read, but I’m so happy I’m reading more than three books a month. Trying to catch up with my goal.
Personally
This month has been a ball of stress with some interesting news, a bruised tendon, preparing and going on a big trip, and some drama. But it’s okay. Or I should say, it will be okay. Working through the stresses is always hard, but you come out a better person because of it, possibly with new perspectives.
And that was July.
I hope you continue to enjoy my blog. Thanks! ❤
Hugs
Alexandra
